Pearsons of Ingleton Team were out in force at the NEC Foodex Meatex Supreme products competition and award at Birmingham.

Angela Danskin came away with a gold award for Pearsons new 'minted lamb pyramid pie' .These new pies are to launch the new Internet shop were people can buy online after visiting the shop .

The new range of pies has already been sent as far as the Isle of Wight.

Stephen Pickup got a silver award for the traditional pork sausage and butchers apprentice George Taylor came away with a silver at only his second competition with the Three Peaks Sausage Pearsons also came away with silver award for their traditional pork pie which was 'north of England champion pork pie' in 2006.

There was a silver for the 'Rambler' pie which is one of the new range of pies. The pie is a pork pie with a layer of black pudding (Pearsons BPEX north west of England champion 2008 black pudding) between the pork.
