POLICE are appealing for information after a schoolboy was knocked off his bike by a hit and run driver.
The incident occurred at Appleby Road, Kendal, at around 8.10am on Tuesday when a 14-year-old boy who was riding to Queen Katherine School was involved in a collision with a black car which failed to stop at the scene.
The boy was taken to Royal Lancaster Infirmary with leg injuries.
Anyone with information is asked to call Kendal police on 0845-3300-247.
