A PUB is temporarily closing its doors due to the 'rising costs' of running a business.
Bosses behind The Kings Arms Hawkshead issued a statement online revealing that the pub is now closed until further notice.
A spokesman said: "The pub has traded amazingly over the summer and it was nice to see so many familiar faces.
"With the rising costs of running a business and the bleak winter months ahead we have decided to close until next year.
"Thanks for your support Mat."
