The Sandylands Post Office in Kendal will be closed for a short time while a major refit takes place in November.
The branch at 65 Sandylands Road is closing on November 10 at 5.30pm for a major refit by the new owner of the office.
It is due to re-open on November 29 at 1pm.
In the interim alternative branches include:
- Kendal Post Office, 75 Stricklandgate, Kendal, LA9 4AA
- Hallgarth Post Office, 93 Hallgarth Circle, Kendal, LA9 5NU
- Rinkfield Post Office, 41 Burton Road, Kendal, LA9 7LJ
Samuel Williams, Post Office network provision lead, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the work.
“The safety of our customers is of paramount, therefore, to allow for the building work to take place, it will be necessary for the service to close temporarily.”
