HUGH-Fearnley-Whittingstall was seen having a drink in the King Arms Hotel in Kirkby Lonsdale.
In a post by the Kings Arms it said: "Look who popped in for tea! It's great to have people wanting to come to the Kings when there are so many options, but it's particularly nice when a foodie chooses to eat with us! Lovely gent!"
Hugh is most known for his River Cottage series where he hosted a cooking show from a kitchen in a house in Netherby, Dorset. He then set up a new business River Cottage HQ on a 44-acre property close to Dottery, Dorset.
He has written multiple cookbooks such as The River Cottage Year, The River Cottage Fish Book, The River Cottage Cookbook and The River Cottage Meat Book.
He is also known for his activism, campaigning from the late 2000s over issues such as battery-farmed chicken, consumer waste, and the obesity crisis.
