The Kendal & District Pool League continued to impress another round of action across all three divisions.

Smokies A continued to dominate at the top of Kendal & District Pool League Division One after they defeated Albion C 8-1.

The league leaders dominated where there were singles wins for Gary Kirkby, Ryan Nightingale, A Milliard, D Pearson, and S O Sullivan.

However, in the doubles Ryan Shephard and A Milliard, D Pearson and Ryan Nightingale as well as S O Sullivan and Gary Kirkby eased to victory.

In the other games Coach & Horses A remained second following their hard fought 5-4 win against Netherfield CC A’s team, Ivy Leaf A defeated Albion D 8-1, Rifleman’s A edged out Endmoor Club 5-4, Albion A defeated Smokies B 6-3, while Coach & Horses B saw off Burneside Travellers 7-2.

Division Two leaders Netherfield B were given one of their toughest games of the season before they defeated Heron Warriors 5-4.

The result for the B team leaves them seven points clear at the top, with Jolly Anglers B team their nearest challengers after they defeated Castle B 6-3.

Heron remained at the foot of the table however they did pick up a crucial 5-4 win against third from bottom Burneside CC B, where Heron are now five points adrift of safety.

Punch Bowl BG won 6-3 at White Hart A, while Oddfellows Arms edged out Albion B 5-4 a result which keeps Punch Bowl in seventh place while Albion B remained third in the table.

In Division Three Clock Tower continued to dominate with an emphatic 7-2 win against Ivy Leaf F, Albion Oracles saw off Oddfellows Wax 6-3, Albion Z edged out Rainbow 5-4, Castle A won by the same score with victory against Jolly Anglers A,

Endmoor Hillbilly’s defeated Rifleman’s B 6-3, before Horse held out before defeating Albion Rebels 5-4.
