Following reports of vehicles becoming stuck on some Lake District roads, Cumbria Police have now announced that the A592 Kirkstone Pass is closed to all vehicles.
Police have advised drivers to seek alternative routes, and have assured the public that local Highways are working hard to get teams and gritters to the area to clear the route.
