AN independent drinks and food shop in central Kirkby Lonsdale has announced that it is closing with immediate effect.
A Touch of Artisan, on 13 Market Square in the town, known for its wide range local craft beers, independent spirits, and artisan foods, announced its closure on social media on Saturday.
The shop also hosted regular gin tastings and was well-known for its popular Christmas hampers.
The post said: "As many of you may know, we are closing down due to the current climate and situation, we are offering 10 per cent off everything today, come and grab some Gin, Vodka, beer etc."
A separate post on Tuesday advertised the shop's shelving units for immediate sale and collection.
