KENDAL Business Improvement District (BID) will put on a folk and food festival on the weekend of June 17-18.
A spokesman for Kendal BID said: "We have been asked several times if Kendal was going to have a Food and Drink Festival, so here it is. We want it to showcase the best that Kendal has to offer in the way of food and drink."
Kendal BID said that if businesses wanted to 'show what they can offer' to contact manager@kendalbid.co.uk .
The spokesman said that it wanted to accompany the event with local folk music so asked for musicians to get in touch as well.
