AWARD-winning comedian Paul Foot will visit Brewery Arts, Kendal, with his new show Dissolve.
The show promises to be his most 'personal, surprising and inspired stand-up offering ever.'
In the year 2022, something momentous changed for Paul. In this show, he will reveal how he discovered the secret of life on the outskirts of Lancaster. Inevitably, he gets distracted by King Tutankhamun, the House of Lords, Sir Cliff Richard, officious lollipop ladies, and what Jesus might have achieved if he’d been a plumber.
Paul said: “This is the most personal show I’ve ever created and the first time I’ve spoken about these things on stage. On 20th March 2022, something unbelievable happened to me, that I still struggle to explain. 29 years of mental health crises, childhood trauma and life-altering depression dissolved away in an instant. It is also, incidentally, really funny throughout. I am a comedian after all.”
