A CLIMATE summit is bringing together schools across Cumbria to discuss energy and biodiversity.

Youth Climate Summit 2023 will occur on Thursday, 6 July, at the Conference Centre in Queen Katherine School, Kendal.

The summit will be a gathering of young people from schools across Cumbria where they will be sharing, learning, discussing and workshopping together on the themes of energy and biodiversity. 

The event is suitable for children aged 10 and up, and they are looking for 20 schools to bring four pupils.

Zero Carbon Cumbria, Cumbria Action for Sustainability, Cumbria Community Foundation, Cumbria Development Education Centre and Community Fund are the organisations behind this event.

The event will start at 10am and finish at 2:30pm.
