POLICE have provided a condition update after a driver suffered serious injuries following a crash on the A590.
Officers were called to a road traffic collision near Witherslack on Thursday that involved a grey BMW 3 Series and a blue Ford Fiesta.
The collision, which occurred at 3.55pm on June 15, left the driver of the Fiesta with serious injuries. He was taken to hospital by air ambulance.
Police have revealed the driver is now in a serious but stable condition.
The A590 remained closed for a number of hours after the incident as forensic collision investigation inquiries took place.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dash cam footage that may assist the investigation.
