A COUPLE enjoyed their 'intimate and relaxing' wedding ceremony with nine guests in the Lake District.

David Sean Bostock, a 29-year-old retail aquatic specialist, married a 29-year-old community support worker Renee Johan Patrica Bostock.

David, from Nottingham and Renee, from Leicester, met on September 2019 on a dating app.

"We both clicked from the first message," said Renee Bostock.

"The conversations just flowed, and we had so much in common like our love for animals, nature, and pets and our goals and ambitions for the future."

The pair got engaged in September 2021, during the bride's birthday weekend in Mablethorpe.

Renee said: "We had a little room with a hot tub that was decorated with petals saying will you marry me - very romantic."

The couple got married on March 2 at Cragwood Country House Hotel in Windermere with nine guests.

"The day was perfect. From the moment we woke. We got ready with family members," said Renee.

"The ceremony went so fast but was lovely to have our nearest and dearest next to us.

"The venue was amazing. Incredible and caring staff. I couldn't have got a better venue."

"All was very relaxed and chilled. Just a perfect chilled, relaxing small intimate wedding filled with love, emotion and happiness.

"The photographer was amazing, and she made us feel right at ease.

"After photos, the wedding cake was shown in private to the groom. He had no idea that the cake was half wedding and half Pokemon. He's a big Pokemon fan."

As part of their honeymoon, the couple went on a Tui Cruise around the Mediterranean in May 2023, where they visited Rome, Pompeii and even climbed Mount Vesuvius.
