THE Lake District has ranked second for being the UK’s most beloved campervan holiday spot based on Instagram hashtags.
The UK Campervan Holiday Index by the experts at Select Van Leasing unveiled data which showed the Lake District National Park received 266 Instagram hashtags, with an Instagram hashtag score of 9.3/10.
Photographs on the social media app include breakfast shots from campervans with a view, to staged campervan shots with the mountains and lakes as the backdrop.
The Cairngorms National Park topped the table with 493 hashtags and The New Forest National Park finished third with 56 dedicated hashtags.
Embarking on a campervan adventure has become a dream for many, offering the perfect blend of freedom, wanderlust, and breathtaking scenery. That’s why 73% adults opted for ‘staycations’ in the UK this year.
