TWO men accused of hunting a wild animal with a dog have appeared in court.
The co-defendants are alleged to have hunted a wild mammal and caused unnecessary suffering to a fox by keeping it in a snare.
The offences are said to have happened in Kendal on January 14.
Benjamin Wilson, 33, of Barden Avenue in Bradford, is also accused of cocaine possession, using a Land Rover in a condition likely to cause injury and possessing a knife.
Benjamin Grennan, 24, of Burnley Road in Mytholmroyd, is accused of possessing cannabis and cocaine.
They have denied the offence and are due to appear for another hearing at the court on September 21.
