THE POLICE and ambulance services were seen opposite the White Hart Inn in the centre of Kendal.
Cumbria Police said that they were called out at 2.15pm. A spokesperson said: "We were contacted regarding concern for the welfare of an individual at a nearby address. Officers attended and located the man safely.
"Police remain at the scene whilst liaising with ambulance colleagues."
