POLICE from Lancashire probing on 'ongoing investigation' are in Cumbria.
Police divers have been seen entering the River Kent at the junction of Milnthorpe Road and South Road in Kendal.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "Our officers, in conjunction with our colleagues from Cumbria Police, are carrying out enquiries as part of an ongoing criminal investigation. We are not able to comment any further at this stage. We will provide a further update when we can."
A spokesperson for Cumbria Police said: 'The police activity is in relation to assistance we are providing Lancashire Police with an ongoing investigation.'
