A pub in Kendal has come under new management, after the previous landlords left following 10 years of service.
The Shakespeare Inn, situated at the very heart of the town centre, will now be run by Lee Lord and Julie Rayner.
Mr Lord promised a raft of changes were on the way after thanking his predecessors for the 'tremendous' job they had done over the years.
He said: "This week we begin a new era for The Shakespeare, lots of hard work and lots of changes and we can’t wait to get started.
"Look forward to a new quality food menu using locally sourced fresh produce and look forward to a new selection of beers, wines and spirits coming soon."
