SPACES are still available for Ulverston's annual candlelit walk on Halloween.
The walk is from The Gill into the woods and will be lit by hundreds of candles.
This year, which will be its twelfth, the theme is Venomous Spectacular which means that the walk will be exploring the world of killer plants.
The plants will feature in the fire-lit shadow screens and illustrations by artists Ellie Chaney, Nat Tyson, Tracey Escolme, Hannah Clarke, Lindsay Ward and Jennie Dennett.
A fire display will be put on by Matrix Circus. Tickets are £1.75 per person to cover the costs of the volunteer-run event and to manage the numbers on the path.
These are the times of the performances in the gazebo at the start/finish of the circular walk:
6.00pm – Kamishibai stories with Cathy
6.40pm – Song Birds “Creepy Choir”
7.00pm – Kamishibai stories with Cathy
7.30pm – Song Birds “Creepy Choir”
7.50pm – Music with Amy Clouds
All ages are welcome. The walk takes twenty minutes and there are slots from 5.45pm to 8.05pm.
