A care home in Kendal has been nominated for multiple regional awards.
The staff at Heron Hill care home will have a shot at winning six titles in total when they find out their fate at Kimpton Clock Tower in Manchester on November 11.
The event is part of the Great British Care Awards, a series of regional ceremonies across the UK promoting excellence in the care sector.

Manager Nicola Spedding said: "The team work so hard and offer a huge amount of support to one another, our residents and their families.
"It’s a great opportunity for the staff attending the awards to get dressed up, as we don’t get to do it in our everyday roles."
The whole staff is up for the Care Home Team award, with nominations for individuals coming in the assessor, worker, palliative care, dementia care and recruitment categories.
