NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 10 food establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
The following ratings have been given to seven restaurants, cafes and canteens:
• Rated 5: Bob and Berts at 2a Elephant Yard, Kendal; rated on October 3
• Rated 5: The Gateway Hotel at Crook Road, Kendal; rated on October 3
• Rated 5: The Barn Cafe at University Of Cumbria, Rydal Road, Ambleside; rated on September 26
• Rated 5: Tilly's Desserts Delivered at Unit 12 Blackhall Yard, Stricklandgate, Kendal; rated on September 26
• Rated 5: The Lily at 12-14 Lake Road, Ambleside; rated on September 14
• Rated 4: Station Inn at Beehive Lane, New Hutton; rated on September 5
• Rated 4: The House of Siam at 5 Grosvenor Terrace, Windermere; rated on September 5
And three ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:
• Rated 5: Golden Rule Hotel at Smithy Brow, Ambleside; rated on September 27
• Rated 5: Drunken Duck Inn at Barngates, Ambleside; rated on September 22
• Rated 5: Wainwrights Inn at Langdale Leisure Ltd, Great Langdale, Ambleside; rated on September 11
