A charity in Kendal will receive match-funding thanks to a scheme starting in November.
Bendrigg Trust will be a recipient of the Big Give Christmas Challenge, which matches every donation certain charities receive across a specified week.
The Trust works to provide fully accessible outdoor activities for people living with disablities.
A spokesperson for the charity said: "We are thrilled to have the chance again this year to receive matched funding.
"We really appreciate people's support and for making a real difference to us and our visitors, and the fact it will be doubled is really special."
The Challenge will be matching donations from November 28 to December 5 later this year, meaning every pound raised across the seven days will be doubled.
