A STEAM train is set to travel on the Cumbria coastline this weekend.
On Saturday visitors will be able to spot a steam train coming through various towns in Cumbria.
As part of Pathfinder Railtours, The Cumbrian Coastal Express will offer those aboard a journey hailed by steam train along the coast.
Commencing the journey at 5.35am at Bristol Temple Meads, the train picks up at stations to Birmingham and Crewe.
From there, the diesel locomotive will climb over the northern fells to the historic border city of Carlisle for a lunchtime sightseeing break.
The locomotive will then run along the shoreline through Workington and Whitehaven.
It will then run adjacent to the coast through Sellafield and Ravenglass.
On passing Ulverston, the locomotive will curve along the edge of Morecambe Bay to Grange.
The train will go through Kent Viaduct at Arnside and arrive at Carnforth late afternoon.
