A MAN has been sentenced to unpaid work and will have to pay hundreds of pounds in costs after being abusive and threatening towards a shop worker.
According to Cumbria Police, Ryan Bond (20) of High Crag Close, Kendal, entered a small business in town earlier this year. He was abusive and threatening towards a member of staff - also throwing an item of stock at her.
On Friday (27/10/23) Bond appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates Court where he was sentenced to:
- 40hrs Unpaid Work
- Prosecution Costs of £200
- Victim Surcharge of £114
- Victim Compensation £50
- Must participate in 20 days of accredited Thinking Skills Programme
