Story Homes recently celebrated the handing over of keys to its 10,000th new home.

The milestone was marked at their Brigsteer Rise development in Kendal, with new homeowners, Tina and Colin, receiving a glass of champagne coupled with keys to their new Cranford Story home.

Hayley Blair, Sales and Group Marketing Director, said: “The completion of 10,000 homes is a significant milestone, and an impressive achievement for our business, so we were really excited to mark the occasion, and we’re grateful to our fantastic customers for taking part in our celebrations.

“We now build around 900 homes a year, and the quality of these homes is as good today as it was when we were building just a handful of homes when the business was founded 35 years ago.

"We’re a HBF 5-star builder, as rated by our customers, and we continually receive excellent feedback through Trustpilot. I’m proud of the high quality homes we deliver, which are matched by the excellent service we provide.”

Thrilled homeowners Tina and Colin said: “We were so excited to receive the keys to our new Story Home. We’ve been really looking forward to our move in date, and we couldn’t wait to take a look around our completed Cranford home.

"The fact that our completion was cause for celebration by Story Homes as well made it even more special.”

Originally founded in Carlisle over 35 years ago by Chairman, Fred Story, the company was focused on the delivery of new homes within Cumbria.

Eventually, the house builder expanded into the north east and north west regions.

Now with over 20 live developments across the north of England and Scotland, Story Homes is looking forward to the next 10,000 completions.
