A KENDAL man has been fined after he admitted that his actions would cause immediate unlawful violence to another male.
Michael Lawson, of Ann Street pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards Lee Halhead on August 14 this year in Kendal.
With his guilty plea, the 46-year-old admitted that his behaviour would have caused the complainant to believe that such violence would be used or provoked.
Magistrates took into account his guilty plea at the first opportunity and ordered that he pay an £80 fine, costs of £85, as well as a surcharge of £32 at South Cumbria Magistrates Court on November 6.
