Crake Valley, a Lake District holiday park, has won a significant regional tourism award for the second consecutive year.

Presented by UK holiday giant Hoseasons, Crake Valley near Coniston bagged the Best Small Relax and Explore Destination in the North of England at the company's 17th annual Awards.

This accolade recognises establishments within Hoseasons' UK portfolio that have achieved top scores in independent customer satisfaction surveys throughout the 2023 season.

In the same event, Ullswater Heights, located near Penrith, emerged victorious as the Best Large Lodge Escape destination in the North of England.

The awarding ceremony took place at the Celtic Manor Resort, in Newport.

David Khan, Managing Director at Crake Valley, said: “We are very proud of this award – not just because it’s nice to be voted the best at what we do again, but also because it’s a reflection of the hard work the team puts into looking after our guests.

"They do a fantastic job when it comes to providing excellent holiday experiences and that’s why we have so many happy customers.”

Crake Valley is part of Hoseasons' Bouja collection, which comprises 46 boutique locations in picturesque spots around the UK.

Luke Hansford, Senior Vice President - Supply at Hoseasons, commended the housekeeping team at Crake Valley for their exceptional service.

He said: “The team at Crake Valley consistently goes the extra mile to delight our customers. Their hard work and dedication has translated into some brilliant review scores this year – something we know the vast majority of holidaymakers look for when considering where to book.

"We’re delighted to be able to give them this award and wish them all the best for another fantastic year in 2024.”
