A 35-year-old man has been arrested after a boat was stolen from the Windermere area.
The arrest was made on Monday morning, with the individual currently in police custody awaiting an interview.
The vehicle stolen was a Brig boat.
Enquiries are ongoing and the police have asked that any suspicious incidents or information relating to boat and engine theft is reported to them on 101, LiveChat or 101email.
Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers via their online reporting page or by phoning 0800 555 111.
