Residents in Kendal were subjected to 'aggressive cold callers' on Thursday, November 23.
The police are now investigating these reports, with those involved said to be trying to sell household cleaning goods.
The current belief is that the callers were operating on the Castle Estate at around 1:00pm last week.
The police are asking anyone with information to come forward to help identify the culprits.
They are especially keen to gain CCTV or video doorbell footage from people who were targeted by the door-to-door 'sellers' in the area.
