A KENDAL man has been arrested in connection with breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) and criminal damage.
Jeffrey Hayton, 57, was arrested following an incident in the area of Longpool/Shap Road on the evening of December 15, police said.
A CBO is an order designed to tackle the most serious and persistent anti-social individuals whose behaviour has brought them before a criminal court.
South Lakes Police said on social media: "The anti-social behaviour does not need to be connected to the criminal behaviour, or activity which led to the conviction.
"However, if there is no link the court will need to reflect on the reasons for making the order."
A CBO replaces the former powers of the court to make orders such as an ASBO or a drinking banning order on conviction.
Jeffrey Hayton of no fixed abode, will appear before magistrates over the coming days.
