A CHRISTMAS concert was held in town to celebrate the festive season.
K Shoes Male Voice Choir based in Kendal performed a Christmas Concert at St. Thomas' Church together with Burneside Brass Band.
The concert was attended by 150 spectators and a raffle was held in support of Manna House, Kendal, which raised £365.
As with the previous year, the town mayor Julia Dunlop, attended and opened the concert.
Norman French, chairman of K Shoes Male Voice Choir, said: "The first half consisted of the choir singing a wide variety of Male voice music in English, Welsh and Italian.
"The second half followed after seasonal refreshments had been taken by the audience and consisted of 4 numbers by Burneside Brass and then a joint number with the choir - Be Still My Soul.
"This was followed by a number of Carols and finally rounded off to popular applause with American Trilogy."
