A LAKE District pub has closed its doors to undergo a refurbishment.
Bosses of the Queens Head in Hawskeahd have announced on social media that their establishment is now 'officially closed' for refurbishment.
In a statement made on social media the pub owners explained that the business will reopen in spring.
It said: "We are now officially closed for our refurbishment! Thank you to everyone who came to see us this past month, celebrating Christmas and New Year with you all was great.
"We will be re-opening with our fresh face in the Spring, ready for the sunny season For updates on our re-opening date please keep an eye on our socials! See you soon- Ammie and the team."
