Volunteers working for the Great North Air Ambulance Service have been praised after figures showed they committed 755 hours to the charity across 2023.
The team of over 100 volunteers is currently in operation for the GNAAS and worked for 45,340 minutes last year.
A new management app has allowed the service to monitor the work its volunteers have been doing, which included charity fundraisers across the north east and Cumbria.
Sophie Snowdon, fundraising lead at GNAAS, said: "Our volunteers make a huge contribution to the work we do, and help us reach several communities within the 8,000 square miles that our critical care team operate in.
"At the moment, we’re looking to recruit further volunteers in the North East and Cumbria, so if anyone is interested in volunteering some of their time to help our cause, we would urge them to get in touch.”
