A ROAD is set to close while electricity work is planned to take place.
A section of Helm Road in Bowness will be closed while Electricity North West's works are carried out.
This is set to start on January 22 and is anticipated to take up to 26 days to complete.
Alternative routes can be found via the unrestricted sections of Helm Road, Biskey Howe Road, Lake Road and Craig Brow (A5074).
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
