THE A66 has been closed in both directions to high-sided vehicles.
This is due to the weather conditions in the area.
A spokesperson said: "The A66 is closed both ways to high-sided vehicles due to strong winds from A685 (The Kirkby Stephen turn off, Brough) to A66 (The Barnard Castle turn off, Bowes)."
