HERE is the weather forecast for the next week in Kendal.
The weather forecast for the week ahead is bringing heavy showers and wind into next week, the Met Office shows.
Heavier rain is possible on Monday, mostly in the north. Showery rain on Tuesday, but also drier periods. It is expected to be on Wednesday with a spell of heavy rain, but remaining mild.
After Wednesday January 31 the heaviest and most frequent rain will tend to be across north-western areas and accompanied by periods of strong winds.
Temperatures are expected to be milder than average overall, although this doesn't preclude shorter, colder spells at times, with a risk of overnight frost and fog accompanying more settled.
