A BUS service is being extended on weekdays to include additional stops at more Cumbrian towns.
The 563 Stagecoach bus service originally ran from Penrith to Appleby but will now also link to Kirkby Stephen, Sedbergh and Kendal between Monday to Friday.
This will offer new links from Kirkby Stephen and Warcop to both Kendal and Penrith, and also via a long route, from Kendal and Sedbergh to Penrith or Appleby, and from Appleby and Penrith to Sedbergh or Kendal.
On Saturday’s, the service will continue to run between Penrith, Appleby, Kirkby Stephen and Kirkby Stephen Station.
The revised timetable will come into effect from March 25.
