A new entertainment centre that features a bowling alley and miniature golf course has opened in Carlisle.

Game On!, Carlisle's 'only multi-activity venue' opened in December 2023 in Botchergate's Englishgate Plaza. 

Alongside the entertainment centre's bowling alley and miniature golf course, Game On! brings augmented reality Darts, ice-free curling, pool tables, and shuffleboard to the city. 

Game On! also represents an expansion of family firm Graves (Cumberland) who currently have Opera Bingo clubs and two cinemas in West Cumbria.

Game On! manager Laura Davidson explained how after the new Carlisle entertainment venue's under-the-radar launch, it is now ready to welcome the city's fun lovers.

She said: "We opened very quietly in December as this is an extension of our existing leisure businesses, and we wanted to ensure our offering and products were right.

"As manager of the site, I now feel we have a good grasp of the operation and we’re looking to push ourselves out to the wider market."
