Children in elf hats from schools and nurseries across North Lancashire, the South Lakes and parts of North Yorkshire raised £43,000 for St John's Hospice.

In the lead up to Christmas, nursery attendees, primary, secondary and sixth form students from 61 schools participated in the Hospice's Elf Run.
