Drivers in and around South Cumbria will have several National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, include:
• A590, from 8pm February 5 to 6am March 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A590 eastbound and westbound, Cross-A-Moor Roundabout. Traffic signals for completion of safety audit actions including installation of signs, road markings and kerbs.
• A590, from 8pm February 16 to 6am March 28, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A590 eastbound and westbound, Levens to Brettargh Holt Roundabout, for lane closures and carriageway closures with 40mph speed restrictions for pavement renewal.
• A590, from 8pm February 15 to 6am March 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A590 eastbound and westbound, Barrow to Meathop. Traffic signals and lane closures for LED upgrades.
• A590, from 9.30am November 24 2023 to 6am April 6 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M6 northbound and southbound, junction 34 to 37. Lane closures and slip road closure for tree removal and re-planting.
