A MAN is to appear in court over allegedly been in charge of a vehicle whilst over two times the legal drink driving limit.

Justin Bartley, of Drovers Drive is said to have been 'in charge' of his Vauxhall Corsa with 85 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. 

Prosecutors allege the 52-year-old was stopped on his own residential road on February 8 this year.

He will give an indication of plea to the charge at South Cumbria Magistrates court on Monday morning (February 26).
