Yesterday, The University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay welcomed six new babies.
Six ‘leaplings’ were born on Thursday February 29, 2024, including five baby girls and one baby boy.
The NHS Foundation Trust said: “Congratulations to all of our lovely leaplings and their families. Coming around only once every 4 years, 29th February is a special day to be born.”
Five were born at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary and one was born at the South Lakes Birth Centre in Barrow.
