A KENDAL man will be spending the next eight weeks on curfew at night after being convicted of two offences.
Anthony Walker pleaded guilty to assault by beating of a woman in Kendal and using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence towards the same complainant and another male victim.
The 36-year-old, of Paddock Drive, was handed a community order by magistrates at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on February 28 as a result.
As part of the order, he is required to be at his home address between the hours of 7:00 pm – 7:00 am each day between February 28 and April 23.
A six-month restraining order was also imposed against the two complainants lasting until August 28 this year.
He was also required to pay an £114 surcharge and £85 in court costs.
