GENEROUS members of The Club Inn have raised over £1300 for local charities.

The funds were raised through various sales including cake auctions and setting up party bingo.

The money was presented to the charities on Friday, March 22.

Commenting on the charity fundraiser, Gemma Charlton, the committee chair said: "It is an excellent community.

"The charities were very surprised and over the moon - they could not believe it."

A spokesperson for CancerCare said: "Thank you to The Club Inn Endmoor who invited Fundraiser, Lisa, along last week to present her with a cheque for £550.00 for which has been raised by The Onion Show, a table top sale and a party bingo night."
