A CAFE in Kirkby Lonsdale is 'closed permanently,' its owner announced.
Tata Holdsworth has run Tata's Café on Main Street for the last eight years. She said 'it's so hard to say goodbye, it breaks my heart.'
Ms Holdsworth said: "I know much I love my shop and the people around me are amazing, but it's time to go I have to say goodbye to everyone."
She thanked all her friends in Kirkby Lonsdale and the customers who supported her café over the years.
The café was put on the market in October, 2023 for an asking price of £140,000. It was listed under Hilton Smythe, which said that the business had built up an excellent reputation within the community and garnered a repeat client base.
