The pedestrians fair has risen from £1 to £1.10, pedal cycle and rider from £2 to £2.15, moped, motorcycle and horse from £2.50 to £2.70, vehicles up to 6m length from £6 to £6.45, vehicles over 6m from £11 to £11.80 and vehicle and trailer over 6m from £11 to £11.80.
In 2024/25, blue badge holders continue to travel for free.
A Westmorland and Furness Council spokesperson said: “To support our commitment to maintaining this important transport link for our residents, local businesses and visitors, as of the 2 April 2024, Windermere Ferry single crossing fares increased to cover rising running costs.
“Prices for quarterly, annual contracts will remain the same at present but may be subject to increase in the future.”
