A MAN has been arrested after allegedly 'trying to relieve himself' on a rail replacement bus, British Transport Police say.
The police said that the man had been drinking when the incident on the Lancaster to Barrow rail replacement bus occurred.
A spokesperson from the police said: "He tried relieving himself into a beer bottle and ended up with urine soiling the seats. He was then abusive towards the driver."
The police said he was arrested and then bailed, and enquiries are ongoing.
The Furness Line has been served by rail replacement buses since a train derailed on the approach to Grange station on March 22.
It is expected to be disrupted until at least April 21.
