Cumbria Police are focusing their efforts on clamping down on motorbike speeding in the region.
South Lakes NPT shared on Sunday, April 28 that they would continue to be working in Garsdale over the summer months to tackle the problem.
This comes following complaints of speeding motorbikes 'doing the loop'.
A spokesperson commented: "Please be respectful of residents who have to live in the area and use the roads.
"We are heading into good weather with farmers using the roads more frequently in and out of their fields - we do not want to prosecute, but we will if we have to."
They added a reminder that, on country roads, commuters can 'never know what is around the corner', adding to their concerns over road safety.
