POLICE have requested residents to be vigilant after reports of people trying door handles.
South Lakes Police have shared on their social media a message to all residents after reports of two individuals spotted in the early hours of today, May 10 in the area of Hallgarth trying door handles and looking in gardens.
The force has asked residents to make sure their vehicles and property are secure.
In the post, the Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Hayley said: "Please let us know at the time if you see anything suspicious."
