Three local charities are teaming up to host an ‘oar-some’ watersport adventure in the heart of the Lake District.
St Mary's Hospice, CancerCare and Ford Park in Ulverston have joined forces to host the First Coniston Charity Kayak Tournament.
On Saturday July 13, supporters will gather on the shore of Coniston Water before taking to the water to raise money for these great causes.
Teams of three will face off against one-another in a kayak relay race, taking on 800m legs of the water.
